Why we built Clean Rays
💡 We're a small crew of home-tech tinkerers and self-declared lighting nerds who got tired of standing in the hardware aisle squinting at a burnt-out bulb, trying to remember its wattage. Clean Rays: Light Power started as a scrappy personal spreadsheet and grew into a fully autonomous space for managing every light in a home or office.

Your lighting data never leaves your device
Clean Rays: Light Power was designed around one firm principle: your bulb inventory, room layouts, and energy calculations are yours alone. This policy explains, plainly, what that means in practice.
01 Information We Collect
We collect nothing. Clean Rays: Light Power does not require sign-ups, does not ask for your name or email, and does not read your contacts, location, or photos. Every bulb entry, room label, and wattage figure you type stays exactly where you typed it — on your device.
02 How We Use Information
Because nothing is collected, nothing is used. We don't analyze your habits, profile your household, sell insights to advertisers, or generate any report about you. The app's calculators run entirely for your own benefit, on your own hardware.
03 Data Storage
Your bulb inventory, room and property categories, color temperature notes, and calculator inputs are all stored locally on your device. There is no companion cloud account, no remote database, and no sync server holding a copy anywhere else.
04 Third-Party Services
Clean Rays: Light Power contains no analytics kits, no advertising networks, and no third-party trackers of any kind. Nothing about your usage is transmitted out of the app, because nothing is built to transmit in the first place.
05 Data Security
Since your information never travels across a network, there's no transmission to intercept and no remote server to breach. Your lighting records are only as accessible as the device they live on, protected by whatever safeguards you already use to secure that device.
06 Children's Privacy
Clean Rays: Light Power does not knowingly or unknowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13. Because the app has no data collection mechanism at all, it presents no data-privacy risk to younger users managing a household chore list.
07 Your Control
There are no accounts to manage and nothing stored remotely to request deletion of. If you ever want to remove your data entirely, simply uninstall the app — every bulb entry, room map, and calculator figure disappears from your device along with it.
08 Changes to This Policy
If our approach to privacy ever changes, we'll update this page and revise the effective date above. Given our offline-first design, we don't expect that to happen — but we'll be transparent if it ever does.
